What Brought Risk Suppression Partners to Mountaintop Web Design?
RSP came because their old website was outdated and clunky. It was inconsistent in style and strategy, and search engines didn’t know how to make heads or tails of it. Portions of the site were broken and had been broken for months when they came to us, because they didn’t have the bandwidth to tackle it themselves.
Their primary concern was their website. It was struggling and wasn’t accurately representing their brand. RSP required a website that maintained a consistent tone and voice that mirrored their values and beliefs.
In addition to their immediate needs with their website, RSP needed help with visibility. Initially, RSP’s website struggled to garner any web traffic. Throughout the entire process, we optimized each page to follow SEO best practices. This would help search engines better recognize and crawl the website, which would, in turn, funnel more organic traffic towards the site.
Built Customer Portal
Finally, we planned to build a customer portal. This secure area of the website would be exclusively for RSP clients, providing them access to their information. This section of their website needed to be easy to use, while also holding up to security best practices to protect any information shared through the portal.
What We Accomplished
Normally, a key metric we use to judge our success is keyword rankings. However, Risk Suppression Partners’ website brought a new challenge. They provide a niche service for an extremely limited and small audience. There aren’t many relevant keywords to target, and the keywords that are available have very low search volume. While keywords are still very important, we had to find a different way to measure success with their redesigned website.
The website’s lower-than-average bounce rate was one of the best indicators of the site’s success. This showed us that the website was optimized for interested users and that they are able to find the information and products they were looking for.
From 2020 to 2024, Risk Suppression Partners’ website had consistent but underwhelming traffic. Within six months of launch, we provided 4x growth, bringing more traffic and customers to their website.
