Can I save time or roll over my support time to the next month?
Unfortunately, you lose the unused time at the end of each month.
What is covered in my monthly support time each month?
This time is designed for changing text, pictures, products, and other small designs per your request. Please note that any requests for new functionality will usually go over the monthly allotted time and incur additional costs.
What if I need more time than is on my monthly maintenance?
After receiving a request from you, we typically work on tasks until they are completed. If a task requires more time than what is allotted on the care plan, we will send an invoice for the total time, minus the credit of time per the care plan you are on. If a larger task is requested, we will typically reach back out to further define the scope of the project and provide an estimate of time to complete the task.
When does my month start & end?
Each plan is based on a 30-day period. The month will start when payment is submitted and will end 30 days after payment. A client may start their Extreme WordPress Care Plan on any day during the month. MWD will track services rendered during each 30-day time frame.
What is the sign up fee for?
The sign up fee covers a basic website evaluation we will perform prior to starting your care plan. This is determine how the website was built, make a full backup of the site, discover issues that need fixing, and make suggestions for how to improve your website. We will give you a report that includes a list of pages & posts, users at each security level, list of plugins & themes, the current speed of your website, possible security issues like malware, broken links, Google’s mobile friendly test, and your domain authority. We will also give an estimate to fix any outstanding issues at that time per our Terms of Service.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes, you may cancel anytime by emailing [email protected] with your cancellation request or by logging into your account and cancelling your plan. We love working with our clients and hate to see you go. If anything has been less than satisfactory, please do not hesitate to let us know and we will work hard to fix the problem.
What if Mountaintop Web Design didn’t build my website?
Not a problem for us! We have had many clients who were looking for a long-term relationship with a web developer to manage their website(s). We are more than happy to work with you on your WordPress website. The initial sign up fee covers the website evaluation we will perform on your website. See the FAQ for “What is the sign up fee for?”.
What do we need to start?
In order to start the service, we will need administrator access to your WordPress website. In most situations, we will need access to your hosting account as well. This will help us troubleshoot issues that may arise without your intervention. We will work with you to get the information that we need to serve you best.
What if the plans won’t meet my needs?
If our current plans don’t meet your needs, please contact us and we will build a custom plan just for you!
